I am working on a new installment of "Misadventures in Dubious Discernment" for an upcoming episode of Fighting for the Faith and I'd like to ask a question of ya'll?
Do Photographs REALLY Say it ALL?
Let's pretend that Ronald Reagan was president today and that the U.S. and the Soviet Union were still locked in a perilous nuclear arms race. But, it was reported today that President Reagan and Priemiere Gorbachev had met with each other and the photos I've posted below were the photographs that were released after their meetings.
Based upon how nice and cordial and friendly president Reagan was being with Gorbachev would it be accurate to say that Reagan had compromised his commitment to uphold the U.S. Constitution and that his friendliness toward the leader of the forces of evil in the world was sending the message to Americans that "communism is okay?" Why or why not?
Even though this might seem like a no brainer. I'd truly like your comments and your thoughts.
